we started with attaching the pieces of the pavilion that we had done from Revit to unreal engine, by that we had a problem with the scale, the pieces were really small and had a bad quality and that is because we had approximately 360 pieces it was too much for the program. for you not to get in the same situation you should consider to set the dimensions in the beginning of the importing process .
After fixing the problem that we had, our next step was to set the visual effects. where you can adjust the lighting for the exterior or interior views.
Now for adjusting materials, we had the option of creating the material that we want depending on the roughness, reflection and color. it can differ from what kind of approach you want to present. and for the texture you can download them from the internet where you'll find thousands of types.
For our project we decided to use dark stones for the exterior part, on the other hand. the interior part is more focused on lighting and reflective materials that compliments it. and for the decals we used png pictures from the internet.
after all these steps that we mentioned. now we will go through how to get a render. and that will be by choosing your projects position an adjusting until you're satisfied with how it is positioned, you will now press the button F9 on your keyboard to have a screenshot, youll have the ability to change the resolution too.
Lastly, we had to do a walk through video, which was a bit tricky and a long process, because it could happen that the transactions are a bit fast we had to add key frame every one second, so we can manage the speed and the quality of how we want it to be. the video starts as if you're an actual visitor trying to enter the pavilion which you'll see the same view and go the same steps as if you're the one walking there.
